Site Engineer – Project (GET)

Job Location: Pune

Job Profile:

• Supervise installation & commissioning of equipment as per the drawing.
• Prepare site activity chart, site progress reports & monitor sites with respect to resource
  deployment, time overruns and quality compliance.
• Receive material at site & check against BOM.
• Ensure that necessary documentation and tools & tackles are available at site.
• Procure raw material required at site as per Veda’s procurement guidelines.
• Ensure implementation of site management policy related to health & safety, labour
  management & other statutory compliances.
• Monitor progress of sub contractors
• Control inventory on site
• Identifying bottlenecks at site & undertake corrective measures through escalations
• Provide Finance with site completion certificate to support the invoicing process.
• Ensure timely reporting of site progress to HO
• Interact with customer to provide updates, follow up for completion and payment.
• Develop labour contractors at site.
• Check, validate and submit site related expenses to project manager, i.e. labour, suppliers, site
  purchases, etc

Candidate Profile:

• Diploma (Mechanical / Chemical) / BE (Mechanical / Chemical)
• Candidates having knowledge of installation & commission of Shell type, husk type, solid
  fuel, waste heat recovery boiler, steam boiler, coil type boiler will be preferred.
• The candidate should be willing to travel extensively and undertake site jobs.
